What is a High Performing Team (HPT)?

It is a team that goes beyond just performing to one that consistently meets all its performance challenges and strives to exceed them.

How does it work?

By raising understanding of the key elements that deliver high performance and using the toolkit we enable teams to develop and meet their performance challenges more quickly.

The Key Elements of the HPT Framework are:

To deliver the performance challenge by:

Gaining Ownership <-> Developing Relationships <-> Applying Knowledge & Skills <-> Maintaining Disciplines

Our Approach

Is to help teams to understand the framework, what each element means and the implications for the team and business.

Once clarity, unity and commitment to the journey to becoming a HPT is obtained, we work with the teams on ‘how’ to get there by using our extensive ‘toolkit’ of team development activities.

These are focused on developing Knowledge — Attitude — Behaviour — Skills to raise individual and team competence.

What will be achieved?

  • A team capable of meeting its performance challenges consistently
  • Increased inter-team collaboration
  • Individuals developed to be effective team players
  • A common approach to team working and development across the organisation
